VenueGlide — Custom software Case Study

Indoor cricket centres, padel clubs, tennis facilities and multi-sport venues were running on a patchwork of spreadsheets, paper waivers and disconnected booking, POS and payment tools — nothing designed for how a sports venue actually operates day to day, and nothing that showed up when a venue owner searched for a real solution.

• Designed and built VenueGlide OS from the ground up — brand, product and platform — as a custom web application, not a templated booking plugin
• Built the full feature set a sports venue actually needs: real-time court/lane booking, membership and recurring direct-debit billing, point-of-sale, coaching and academy management, customer CRM, and business reporting
• Integrated Stripe for payments, Xero for accounting, and Igloo smart-lock hardware for staffless, booking-window-based venue access
• Launched CrickZilla — a Melbourne indoor cricket and VR entertainment centre — as one of the platform's first live venues, running its lane, box cricket, coaching and VR bookings on VenueGlide
• Built and optimised the marketing site and SEO structure around how venue owners actually search — by sport, by feature and by location
